2026 April Soosooland Popular Game Rankings Analysis
📊 Ranking Criteria
Rankings are based on number of users × time spent. Omok topped the chart with 300 users playing an average of 3 minutes each.
Soosooland’s Omok appeared in search results when users searched “omok” on Google, making it the clear number one.
In Google Search Console > Performance > Average Position, the ranking fluctuated slightly — 6.3, 6.6, and so on. When the first digit was 6, daily impressions were around 600, but once it hit 7, impressions dropped to around 200. Ranking 7th out of millions of pages isn’t bad, but on mobile it requires scrolling to reach, which puts it at a disadvantage for clicks. Over the past few days, the average position was 7 and the average CTR was 8.4%.
Google’s March 2026 core update was completed around April 8th. Google adjusted its algorithm to prioritize useful and original content, and Soosooland’s Omok benefited — shooting up in rankings before settling at its current position.
When I added a new difficulty level to Omok, the area below the board felt empty, so I added links to other Soosooland games. At first I worried that tweaking the meta tags and adding links had hurt the ranking — but it turns out they didn’t. Links to other games actually help by keeping users on Soosooland longer, which works in our favor with Google. Updating the meta tags to be more appealing also helps drive traffic.
These four games hold the copyright and are all Soosooland originals. It’s not that they underperformed — Omok and Baseball Game simply got more search exposure. As the graph shows, my original games have actually been outperforming Omok and Baseball Game until now.
• 3rd Place: Moeum Quiz — A Korean version of Hangman . It ranked third thanks to users who regularly practice with Moeum School, which has been developed through the first semester of 5th grade.
• 4th Place: Trinkle — A territory strategy game on Soosooland.
• 5th Place: Numzzle — Designed to make arithmetic practice fun. A graph feature is currently in development so users can see how their skills compare — it’s already live in Numzzle Elementary. (Screenshot coming soon) Hoping this sparks some healthy competitiveness and brings in more players.
• 6th Place: Worpuzz — A combination of Minesweeper and Word Search. With so many variations, I’m considering adding a selection guide screen to help users choose.
