My GitHub Journey in 2025
1. GitHub’s Green Grass
Since joining GitHub on May 9th, I’ve made 6,441 commits throughout the year, painting my contribution graph green. December was especially productive - my creativity exploded and I launched 7 new game repositories: Triterra, Mate Kong, Breeze Field, Breeze Zen, Breeze Pop, Moeum Round, and Worpuzz Breeze.
2. My First Pull Request Ever
October was my busiest month with an incredible 2,070 commits. On October 11th, I apparently made my first Pull Request - though I had no idea this even happened until I saw it just now! I must have accidentally clicked the wrong button. Most of those commits came from purchasing a domain and adding sitemaps to the repository, along with inserting meta tags, Open Graph tags, and other SEO elements into the index and various files.
In August, I created five new repositories (yagoo, numtter, numpplex, omok, old-doori) and launched the baseball game Yagoo, Numtter, Numpplex, and Omok. In September, I added a storage repository to collect codes that I don’t need right now but might use someday, along with reference codes to look at when studying coding.
In June, I registered copyrights for Worpuzz, Trinkle, Numzzle, and Vowel Quiz, and launched Worpuzz Mate. In July, I released Mate Jini, Worpuzz Mong, Worpuzz Mini, and Numpple. I also created the Soosooland platform and added Google Analytics code to each file.
I joined GitHub on May 9th, 2025 and uploaded Worpuzz to my repository. The initial version of Worpuzz didn’t have a separate word pool, but when I later separated out the word pool functionality, the original form of Worpuzz was preserved with “old-” added to the beginning of its name.
In January 2026, I noticed people showing off their GitHub contribution graphs, so I decided to join in. I signed up for GitHub in May 2025, uploaded my games, and connected them to the Soosooland platform. With all the little tweaks and fixes here and there, I’ve made 6,441 commits. It looks nice and green!
[Soosooland.com](http://Soosooland.com) has grown into a platform visited by over 1,100 users from 25 countries worldwide, including 876 from South Korea, as well as users from the United States, Russia, Germany, the Netherlands, France, and Israel.
