how to start embroidery without a knot
I still don’t qualify to earn revenue from YouTube. Until recently, I had only 9 subscribers, but after uploading Soosooland game videos, it grew to 39. Then suddenly 2 people left, so now I have 37 subscribers.
“Wait, why did you leave? ㅠㅠ Come back!”
So I asked ChatGPT why there were ads on my video when I never applied for them. It told me that I must have violated someone else’s copyright, so ads were placed and the money goes to that person. I went to YouTube Studio to check, but that wasn’t the case.
The reason for the ads was that since this video had 800 views with 100% likes, YouTube determined it was “advertiser-friendly” and placed their own product ads on it. It’s a shame I can’t earn money from it, but I’ve mostly given up on YouTube anyway because I’m not good at filming and editing videos.
These days I play Soosooland games on my phone, edit them into clips under one minute, and upload them as Shorts. Each one gets around 100–300 views, and out of those, about 1 person actually comes to play the games on Soosooland.

Six years ago, I tried to upload videos to YouTube, but other people had already uploaded everything, so I couldn’t find any new content to create. I searched for “how to start embroidery without a knot” and couldn’t find it, so I made a video about it.
I recorded this video on my iPad, but the audio quality is poor. Later, a 5th-grade elementary student (a gaming YouTuber with 300 subscribers) gave me some advice:
“Teacher, use your phone to film. The audio quality is bad.”
Since the subtitles are hard to hear, let me write them here:
"Hello? I’m going to show you how to start embroidery without tying a knot.
First, cut the thread to 1 meter and fold it in half.
When folded in half, it becomes 50 centimeters, which is similar to the length of our arms.
As you embroider, the thread passes through the fabric multiple times, and during this process, the thread gradually loses its luster and becomes fuzzy.
So it’s best to cut it to 50 centimeters. Place the needle on the cut end of the thread.”
It sounds unnatural, as if I’m reading from a script.
“I kept getting NGs and the thread got saliva on it, so it kept getting shorter as I cut it, and the fabric got full of holes. This time, please, no NGs. Even if there are NGs, I just want to finish this.”
Then the kitchen scissors appear ㅋㅋㅋㅋ so funny ㅋㅋㅋ I have three pairs of embroidery scissors, but I don’t know why I did that.
“Let me show you. First, the needle comes up from bottom to top.
Then it goes down from top to bottom. That’s one stitch. Then there’s a loop underneath. You thread it through the loop like this.”
Then I demonstrate.
“See, it’s so simple. This method can’t be used when you have an odd number of strands. When you embroider with 2, 4, or 6 strands, you can fold a 1-meter thread in half and use it. Thank you for watching.”
And then the video ends abruptly with only the “d” sound from the last word audible. There’s only one comment: “ㅎㅎ The way you speak is so funny~”
